Independent Living Skills Training
Our independent Living Skills Training is geared towards empowering and training developmentally disabled individuals to thrive and be productive at home or in the community despite their condition. We provide proper assessment, recommendations, and training to the patient and his family so they will be equipped with the necessary skills required to live independent lives.
Semi-Independent Living Skills
We provided Semi-Independent Living Skills Training to adult with developmentally-disability or related conditions enable to achieve personal desires that lead self-directed. This service is offered to developmentally disabled individuals over the age of 18 who is not at risk of needing to be admitted in care facilities. Our goal of SILS is provide to training and assistance the following:
✔ Engage in activities that make it possible for an adult with developmental disabilities or related condition(s) to live in the community
✔ Exercise social, recreation, and transportation skills, including appropriate social behavior
✔ Learn and exercise the rights and responsibilities of community living
✔ Maintain personal appearance and hygiene
✔ Manage money, prepare meals, and shop
✔ Obtain and maintain a home
✔ Perform first aid and obtain assistance in an emergency
✔ Self-administer medication
✔ Use the phone and other utilities
